If you are upgrading from a firmware version prior to 4.0r0, such as 3.5rx, please follow the steps below before upgrading to version 4.3r0p1.

Device with firmware prior to version 4.1r2 :

If the device incorporates firmware prior to version 4.1r2, you must first update to the 4.1r2 package, available from the Customer Portal. You will only be able to proceed to the next steps and update to firmware version 4.3r0p1 if the device includes version 4.1r2.

• If upgrading from a version prior to firmware V4.0r0, such as 3.5rx, please follow the steps below before upgrading to V4.1r2.
• Start by updating the 3.5r7 firmware to ensure that the product configuration and database are up to date (make a backup copy of the configuration to start with).
• For multi-channel loudspeakers, use the "Dirac setup" to group channels by loudspeaker.
• Ungroup subwoofers and other loudspeakers.
