HI-FI SOUND
The perfectly defined bass/midrange of the Fiber IP membrane is combined with the silky, detailed treble of the Beryllium "M" profile tweeter, a Focal exclusive from the Utopia ranges and acclaimed for its performance.
MADE TO MEASURE
The loudspeakers feature optimized crossover for both indoor and outdoor use, as well as treble adjustment levels to suit your listening environment. An inclined support, available as an accessory, lets you choose the speaker's inclination and thus the direction of sound.
IP65 CERTIFICATION
For flawless reliability, the loudspeaker membrane is certified IP65. This international standard attests to its soundproofing and resistance to the intrusion of solid matter and dust.
DISCRETE INTEGRATION
Thanks to its shallow mounting depth and multi-point mounting system, the loudspeaker blends subtly into your environment. Its "ready-to-paint" grille gives you an unlimited choice of finishes.

Technologies
Béryllium Tweeter
For exceptional treble
Membrane shape and materials are essential for high-fidelity reproduction. For exceptional treble, our engineers have developed the Béryllium inverted dome tweeter in pure Beryllium. Thanks to its unrivalled rigidity, Beryllium is the material of choice for high-frequency loudspeakers. Developed and patented by Focal, the pure Beryllium inverted dome is capable of covering more than five octaves (1,000 - 40,000 Hz) for perfect perception of micro-details.
Fiber IP membrane
Sound performance at all times
The diaphragm, the central element of a loudspeaker, is at the heart of our engineers' research. For loudspeakers designed for outdoor use, we had to design a membrane that would deliver both sound performance and environmental resistance. The result is the Fiber IP membrane, a sandwich cone made of non-woven glass fibre. The sandwich layers increase damping and offer greater versatility. For even greater durability, this membrane is certified IP65, an international standard attesting to its soundproofing and resistance to dust intrusion.
"M" profile inverted dome tweeter
Better sound directionality
As specialists in loudspeaker diaphragms and tweeters, our acoustic engineers work as much on materials as on cone shapes. That's what they've done with the famous inverted dome tweeter, which they've further developed with a new "M" shape that offers two decisive advantages: even lower sound directionality, for an ever more flexible listening position, and a significant gain in stiffness for the dome, which further reduces distortion and thus delivers quality sound.
